Due to Sex in the City being set in New York City, the show focuses on four women, three in thier mid thirties and one in her forties. the main story lines of the show is dealing with relevant issues people mostly women face in society today, issues such as changing roles and definations for women, multiple partners, promiscuity, womens independence and finding love.
